Northern Manufacturing has fabricated stainless steel components for demanding industrial applications since 1951. Our 160,000 sq ft facility in Oak Harbor, Ohio, runs 304, 316, duplex 2205, 2507, and high-nickel alloys including AL-6XN and Hastelloy C-276, materials that require process discipline most fabricators won’t commit to. ISO 9001:2015 certified, ASME BPVC Section IX qualified, with 60+ AWS-certified welders and a Certified Welding Inspector on staff.

Food & Beverage

Sanitary stainless fabrication for food-contact equipment, tanks, vessels, conveyors, and processing components built to 3-A Sanitary Standards and ASME BPE requirements. Our dedicated stainless-only production space prevents carbon contamination on surfaces where product purity is non-negotiable.

Water & Wastewater

Structural and process components for water treatment and wastewater infrastructure: screens, channels, weirs, clarifier mechanisms, and custom assemblies. We run duplex 2205 and AL-6XN where chloride resistance is critical, and size the work to fit large-scale civil projects.

Power, Energy & Chemical

ASME BPVC Section IX-qualified weld procedures for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping assemblies, and structural components in power generation and chemical processing. Eleanor’s world, tight tolerances, locked specs, NDT requirements. We have the certifications and the CWI to back them up.

Pollution Control

Ductwork, scrubbers, collectors, and emission control components fabricated in corrosion-resistant stainless and specialty alloys. High-temperature and caustic environments demand material integrity from the first weld to the last passivation rinse.

Architectural & Art

Structural and decorative stainless for architects, contractors, and artists, railings, facades, custom structural members, and one-of-a-kind sculptural work. We bring the same weld quality and finishing standards to public installations that we apply to industrial pressure vessels.

Pulp & Paper

Corrosion-resistant stainless fabrications for pulping, bleaching, and recovery operations, environments where aggressive chemicals and high temperatures eliminate most carbon steel options. We fabricate chutes, tanks, structural components, and process vessels sized to mill-scale requirements.

Mining & Bulk Materials

Heavy fabrications for material handling, processing equipment, and structural components in mining and bulk transfer applications. Wear resistance and structural integrity matter more than finish quality here, we build accordingly.
