Certainty of Performance for the Project Engineer

We deliver guaranteed performance and flawless execution for your most critical projects. Our fabrication quality is your first line of defense against equipment failure in harsh, corrosive environments.

  • Advanced Material Expertise: Our expertise extends from austenitic grades like 316L to the superior corrosion resistance of Duplex 2205 and Superduplex 2507, and into the most extreme environments requiring high-nickel alloys like Hastelloy C-276.
  • Verifiable Quality Commitment: All welding procedures and personnel are qualified in accordance with ASME Section IX and AWS standards, overseen by our on-staff Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to ensure weld integrity matches the base metal.
  • Corrosion Prevention: We prevent premature corrosion by performing all stainless and alloy work in a segregated fabrication bay and restore maximum corrosion resistance through post-weld treatments like pickling and passivation.

Managing Cost, Risk, and Your Supply Chain

We understand that for a Procurement or Sourcing Manager, the greatest risk is supplier failure. A late delivery, a quality defect, or a material flaw can derail a multi-million-dollar project. As a stable, transparent, and reliable business partner founded in 1951, we are structured to mitigate this risk.

A Stable Partner to Mitigate Risk

A financially stable partner since 1951, we mitigate supplier risks to prevent costly project delays and quality defects.

Lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

We focus on the lowest TCO, not the initial bid. Our quality fabrication delivers greater equipment longevity and reduces future maintenance costs.

Auditable Quality & ISO Certification

Our ISO 9001:2015 certified system provides verifiable proof of quality, simplifying your supplier vetting and guaranteeing process control.

Reliable, Domestic Supply Chain

Our large, domestic facility in Ohio eliminates supply chain uncertainty, ensuring on-time, to-spec delivery of your critical components.

Proven Applications in Air and Water Pollution Control

Our team has experience fabricating a wide range of custom components and systems for the pollution control sector, demonstrating deep familiarity with the function and precision required for each application.

Scrubber & Oxidizer Components

We fabricate critical components such as Packed Bed Absorber Vessels, Venturi Scrubbers, and the combustion chambers and heat exchangers for Oxidizer/RTO systems.

Air Handling & Filtration

We build housings, hoppers, and support structures for dust collectors, as well as custom ductwork, stacks, and dampers in stainless steel and nickel alloys.

ASME Vessels & Treatment Tanks

We create ASME-compliant vessels for filtration systems, large-scale tanks for chemical storage, plus mixing, reactor, and clarifier tanks for water treatment.

Structural Steel & Process Piping

We provide the associated structural steel for water treatment plants, including access platforms, ladders, and the necessary process piping.

Frequently Asked Questions

While 316L is suitable for many municipal applications with chlorides under 1,000 ppm, Duplex 2205 is a significant upgrade for industrial wastewater or environments where chloride levels are higher or fluctuating. Duplex 2205 offers superior resistance to chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking, and its higher yield strength—roughly twice that of 316L—can allow for thinner, more cost-effective designs.

This is a critical consideration, as improper welding can destroy the alloy’s benefits. We maintain the crucial 50/50 austenite-ferrite phase balance by developing and strictly adhering to qualified Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) per ASME IX that precisely control heat input and interpass temperatures. All welding is overseen by our on-staff AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to prevent the formation of brittle intermetallic phases.

We provide a comprehensive documentation package to satisfy the most stringent QA/QC and regulatory requirements. A typical turnover package includes full material traceability with original Material Test Reports (MTRs) for all alloy components, qualified WPS/PQR for all weld joints, welder qualification records, and all Nondestructive Examination (NDE) reports as specified by the project requirements.
